Luke and Sarah-Rose Album Launch

After two years of work Luke & Sarah-Rose are finally releasing their debut album, The Wild, with an electric new live show. Navigating the dynamic complexities of the album, the duo will be joined on stage by electronic sound artist LOST FEW, as well Ryan Edwards on guitars. “This show is the album brought to life in a way that we couldn’t have imagined”.

Joining Luke & Sarah-Rose on the night will be performances from good friends Vic Park fka JP Klipspringer and Jez of Tall Shores.

In the lush corners of the duo’s hometown Warburton, to smokey outposts of Melbourne the pair set out on a two year expedition to escape the clichés of love and loss and anguish. Joined by producer and friend Colin Leadbetter, the three spent weeks, weekends and months digging through tones, lyrics and assorted boxes of ideas. The sonic nature of the music is such that feels like you’re dancing in the deepest parts of your sleep. The rhythms are wild and chaotic and yet they allow for a pulse that made us move. The songs are remnants of heavy days past, but from that has emerged something complex and exciting.
